It still says that no drivers are installed for this device. Both methods say that the drivers installed successfully upon completion, but nothing changes to the properties of the device. I have also downloaded the packageīelow and tried installing manually from the desktop. I have tried doing an automatic driver update from the properties page of the device. The hardware IDs indicate that it is an Intel HD Graphics 4600. The Display adapter listed is a generic Video Controller (VGA Compatible). Monitor either directly or via a docking station. The display works, but I am unable to connect a second The enterprise version is installed though a imaging server that I do not maintain, so I cannot say for sure what drivers are installed. What happens when you attempt to install the appropriate video driver from Dell? Please report the complete text of any error messages. When you say that you can't "update" the video driver, do you mean that you already have a working video driver and want to update it or that you don't have any working video driver? When you installed the new edition of Windows, you would have had to install all of the drivers, not just the driver for the video adapter.
What edition of Windows was pre-installed when you purchased the computers? Although Dell may take the position that by having installed a new version of Windows you've voided the warranty and therefore Dell has no obligation to help you, in fact there should be no difference with respect to installing a video driver between WindowsĮnterprise 圆4 and any other 64-bit version of Windows 7.
